500 | _aDescription- Flower remedies involve understanding the mental state of a person. Flowers that Heal discusses flowers and their healing powers and the Indian Rescue (I. Rescue) remedy. The book describes 81 flower remedies — one for each of the most negative states of mind or moods that affect people. I rescue remedy is a pre-mixed concoction of the essence of five flowers that can be used in an emergency to alleviate immediate symptoms of trauma. It is dealt with in detail at the end of the book. Since flower therapy is a holistic method of treatment, it takes into account the mental state of a person. As is the case with most alternative therapies, it treats the body and mind as intimately interrelated and uses both physiological and psychological symptoms as aids to diagnosis and for determining the nature of treatment. Dr. Edward Bach invented these remedies. He was the physician who believed in the holistic method of treatment. In the course of his career as a medical practitioner, Dr. Bach observed that an individual’s personality and outlook on life influenced, to a large extent, his/her response to medication Contents- 1- Aloe Vera 2- Amaltas 3- Ashoka 4- Ashwagandha 5- Balsam 6- Basil 7- Bottle brush 8- Bougainvillea 9- Calendula 10- California poppy 11- Canna 12- Chamomile 13- Champa 14- Corn 15- Cosmos 16- Curry leaf 17- Drumstick 18- Eucalyptus 19- Fever few 20- French Marigold 21- Garlic 22- Geranium 23- Ginger 24- Gooseberry 25- Harshringar 26- Hibiscus 27- Him Water 28- Holly Hock 29- Jasmine 30- Kachnar 31- Lemon 32- Lotus 33- Marjoram 34- Morning Glory 35- Mulberry 36- Mustard 37- Nasturtium 38- Neem 39- Onion 40- Ox eye daisy 41- Pansy 42- Peepal 43- Peppermint 44- Periwinkle 45- Petunia 46- Pine 47- Pomegranate 48- Poppy red 49- Radish 50- Rangoon creeper 51- Rose Red 52- Salvia 53- Snapdragon 54- Sunflower 55- Sweat pea 56- Tamarind 57- Tuberose 58- Walnut 59- Water Melon 60- White Rose 61- Willow 62- Yarrow 63- Zinnia 64- Asparagus 65- Banana 66- Bur 67- Celery 68- Coriander 69- Gainda 70- Grape Fruit 71- Gulmohar 72- Kadam 73- Luffa 74- Mogra 75- Oregano 76- Papaya 77- Passion Flower 78- Peach 79- Portulaca 80- Saunf 81- White Poppy | ||
